A little over 2 years ago Daniel Bryan was forced to retire due to a string of concussion related injuries. He was medically cleared from a few physicians but the WWE felt it necessary to take precaution and instead forced him to retire prematurely. From interviews and even episodes of Total Divas & Total Bellas Bryan still had his hopes up for returning to the squared circle. Seeking treatment and testing all across the United States.

On March 20th, 2018 the WWE officially announced that Daniel Bryan was cleared for in-ring competition. After 2 years the wrestling community rejoiced over this decision which seemingly came out of nowhere (no pun intended). It was speculation that Bryan's contract with the WWE expired this April. Meaning if WWE wouldn't clear him then he would have more options in the indie circuit to return to action. Guys like Cody and the Young Bucks have been tweeting about their hope of Bryan joining their ALL IN show if Bryan chose not to re-sign with WWE. Obviously the choice is clear for Bryan as we all know "you go where the money is" and WWE is willing to pay to not let go of one of their most popular stars and that is still after not competing in over two years. Whatever plans WWE has for Daniel Bryan moving forward after Wrestlemnaia is unclear, what we do know is that there is a set up for Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens to take on the team of Shane McMahon & Daniel Bryan after the events of Tuesdays Smack Down Live. The great thing is we at OTR will be in attendance for Wrestlemania which is shaping to be a pretty good one. OTR is happy to hear Daniel Bryan is healthy and ready to step foot in a ring again as a WWE Superstar. We look forward to the new match-ups and memories he creates along the way.
