The Wizard of World Class Recap

World Class Revolution has done it again! They have taken a unique concept and hit it out of the park. The event originally named "Clash at the Cotillion III" was restructured as "The Wizard of World Class" shortly after the crew had pulled off a successful remake of "Dallas" at South Fork Ranch, just a few weeks before. The creativity of the World Class Revolution talent and staff is amazing.

The show started off with some hot tag team action. "The Step Brothas" Tego and Jermaine Johnson taking on Fuego Del Sol and "Retro" Randy Price. After a double count out finish, the match then turned into a dance off between the duos, before heading to the back. Special guest, Jake "The Snake" Roberts made an in ring appearance, only to be interrupted by Trevor Murdoch. Trevor came out to address the fact that he is ready for a fight and he expected only the best that World Class Revolution has to offer. The clock started ticking and out comes the current World Class Revolution Champion MVP to set up for a blockbuster main event. The World Class Revolutionary Championship was on the line when Damon Windsor retained against the debuting Jeremy Wyatt. Lance Hoyt defeated Niles Plonk. Ky-ote and Kid Kash defeated The Von Erich's and the new team of Prince Mahali and Rasheed Ali to become the NEW World Class Tag Team Champions! Sycho Sid made an appearance after the match to help the Von Erich's get rid of Mahali/Ali.

The most entertaining match of the evening came from Matt Striker taking on Flex Zerba. This wrestling match turned thumb wrestle, musical chairs, arm wrestle, hat dance was great. In the end, Striker came out with the win, but I would hope that this is not the last we see of Matt and Flex on opposite sides of the squared circle. The Gail Kim Invitational continued as the debuting Julie Real defeats "La Sicaria" Iveliesse Velez.

The World Class Championship was on the line in a Falls Count Anywhere match as MVP took on Trevor Murdoch. If you thought this match was going to stay between the ropes, you are crazy. The fight ensued all around The Cotillion. These two men gave each other the beating of a lifetime. At one point, "The Boss" Jerry Bostic had to stop Trevor Murdoch from hitting MVP with a high top table. Trevor Murdoch was not going to stop until he had the World Class Championship around his waist. Unfortunately for Trevor, MVP came out on top and retained his championships.

This event left many questions. Is there anyone that can stop the warpath of The Altar? Will the Von Erich's get their chance to redeem the Tag Team Championships, or do they have their eyes set on Prince Mahali and Rasheed Ali? Will the Arrow Club be able to use "Freebird Rules"?
